Hm, -a good suggestion. I still don't think it gives cutting the potential it deserves. When I used the Rob Roy example, it was to illustrate how deep one can cut if you know what to when you cut. I don't think RR cleaves Mr. badie down to his abdomen because of a high damage modifier and a timmid opponent. I want to mention three examples on cutting from real life starring relatively small people(s) and severe cuttingresults:

A: The japs -they trained cutting on prisoners with death sentences, an learned to -for example -cutting people horizontally in two, phtough the pelvis...

B: The Arabs -even with bad steel produced scimitars that refined the cutting adopting blades very curved in the end (allmost like the letter "J"). From horseback theese dudes could cut a man from collarbone to pelvis...

C: The Ghurkas that duting WW2 (acording to indian and brithish comerades) could cleave enemy soldiers' heads from top to jawbone -through the helmet!

IMO 3 good arguments to adopt doubble damage on a critical success for cutting
