Has anyone read Lyndon Hardy's Master of The Five Magics?
In it he dteails five schools of magic:
- Thaumatergy (like begets like - use a piece of an object with power source to draw on and one can move the whole object)
- Alchemy (self explanitory)
- Sorcery (mind control)
- Magic (Enchanting artifacts)
- Wizardry (Demon control)
I was thinking of working similar schools into Gæan magic. We stick with Spirit and Divine as per rules, add thaumatergy and maybe use RQ sorcery as is. Alchemy, there are rules on the net for RQ alchemy. Magic (Rename Artifacing) can be a specialist school using traits from achemy and Sorcery while Wizardry can be an off branch of spirit specializing in Daemons and available to all cultures.
