I don't think the Impale is that it gets stuck in the wound. That is just the after affect of a weapon going deep. I may be wrong, but slingstones I believe can impale. Using guns in other similar rule systems - Chuthulu - impale. In these cases, the stone or bullet don't cause more damage in being removed.
Look to the foil - the impale wound of the foil caused death weeks later because the wounds were so severe. It was not some great damage to the weapon being pulled out.
