I have no clue on the rapier, but I don't think it's lethality lies in it's ablity to get stuck somewhere, so it can create 1d6 additional damage when the user tries to get it out again. So if I were you, I'd find some other way to increase it's lethality and still drop the impaling rules.

...OK, if it only counts for arrows \ bolts. I've thought it over (is just back from a RQ session) ,and think that arrowheads with theese thingies i (still) don't know the name of easily can cause an additional 1d6 dam when trying to get them out again.

I hope I'm not beeing unpolite. I write on a foregin language, and sometimes the sentences comes out a bit quick. I like to discuss rules, that's why 50% of the mails in here is from me...
