Under Review
Over the past year(s) the amount of new content on this site has slowed to a trickle. This has mostly been due to me being too busy and/or lazy to update. Hopefully going forward this will change as I still have plenty ideas.
One of the first things I would like to do is review the sites structure. Archive some old or uninteristing cintent and refocus the rest into more usable categories. For a start I propose the following:
- RuneQuest (Mostly RQIII but Mongoose RQ is currently under review.)
- Guest Articles
- Gaea (The Runequest.za.org game world)
- Random Rants
For starters I suppose I had best rewrite the welcome page. If you read the old welcome below you will see its pretty out of date!
Who are RuneQuest.za.(orc)
This site is the result of close on 2 decades of role playing RuneQuest. It was originally conceived by Tony Den but has had input from most of the Preatorian Guard Role Playing group as well as certain external contributors.
More recently, certain core players have moved to Cape Town (South Africa). They are exploring Mongoose RuneQuest.
In Pretoria, a few players continue with their Swamp Rat campaign. Most new material is likley to originate from this group.
As always, suggestions are encouraged.

Old Welcome
The purpose of the Rune Quest ZA (.orc) site is to faciliatate an online community where Rune Questers from around the world can meet and exchange ideas.
The Rune Quest game is out of print and no new official material likley to be published. As such, it is up to us, the eblightened devotees of the best, most realistic roleplaying system, to provide our own material and hold the Rune Quest torch high!

Rune Quest ZA plans to offer, inter alia the following to registered members:
- A forum for discussion of ideas and asking questions.
- The ability to publish articles. (See publishing articles)
- An opportunity to be involved in helping the world of Gæa grow by adventuring there and providing feedback.
- Meet players in your area - will require loading a profile.
- Any other reasonable requests.
If you have a Rune Quest site, please suggest a link. Please also vote for this site on the RPG gateway. After all, the more exposure Rune Quest gets, the greater the chance of it someday being resurected.
